Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. To live forever on earth is quite contrary For all that is around us is just temporary Even the very bodies That houses our souls Will one day be released From its earthly role As the grass dies and flowers live no more So shall all life have this fate in store There is one thing that is alive That will continue to be It is the precious Word of God That exists eternally
