Morning Lord! How are You today? I thank You for giving me life All the blessings You've sent my way Help me deal with worry and strife Woke this morning before sunrise Walked with my dog through a field of dew My wife and my son still asleep While I enjoyed my time with You Is there anything that You need May I be of help here on Earth? For You I will do all I can I humbly need to earn my worth I know I'm a sinner Dear Lord I pray for forgiveness from You Please guide me, lead me, renew me As You have with the morning dew
