A little Valentine's day ditty from Felix and I, hope it makes you smile :)

I called your name inside my head
 
while my heart tugged at a thread
 
of an oft repeated lover's song
 
disguised in poet's words we said
 
 
I found you there so often I knew
 
no words could ever speak it well
 
the depths of the love I have for you
 
of which only heaven's angels tell
 
 

 

 

 
perhaps a sorcerer's spell was cast
 
or Cupid's bow shot straight and true
 
          delivering love that's meant to last
 
 my love I kissed you in dreams past
 
 
        
           A Valentine was to me a simple thing
 
           Before I looked upon your blue eyes
 
           Before all the love and joy you bring
 
          became the reason that each day I rise
