Sandy seas  lay before me
  An invitation to frolic and play
Roaring through movement and sweat
  Mind detached but closely held

Life's lesson on the run
  Then came the rain and heavy load
No risen sun burning bright
  Only distant splashing surf with singing birds

All the signs of nature's adventures
  To behold and unfold before me
Sweet voices above the calm moment
  Life's lessons on this beach...

Comes the rejoicing and running pace
  The forests of sands brightly filled
And with my feet underneath
  Winged feet gliding effortlessly

Now a mist gliterring from the moon
  I saw others running and racing about
with joy untold
  Happy as boys and girls

On the golden moment of their run
  Old thoughts left me now
The ways of men, such vanity
  By chance and few minutes of joy

Blinded thoughts, unknown
  Even though a happy child
Even though playful
  But there will be another day

Our whole lives paraded in thoughts
  Built for me, as jovial good
Thoughts of more pleasant times
  Through this lonely place

I should have laughed at the suffering
  Firmness of mind
I think not of the pain endured
  But of the prize at the end...Ah! processed...
