Just wanted to be cuddled,
Blinded by a slap,
Broken wing floats beneath clouds,
Lands in tears puddled.

Reminded me of all the children who only just want love even from abusive parents. They still come close and hope everytime that slap will be replaced with a hug. Well Done! Deborah

A sad write you share with us Christine as we face the truth about life, it can be happy/sad/good or bad but we learn to cope with it in our own way. Thank you for sharing.
