She would wait, not that it mattered,
after all, they were intertwined,
climbing each other for support,
roots deeper than the eye could see,
more plush, with each pulsating breath,
light shed against her milky gown,
that poured onto the vine that bled,
nurturing growth, of undying love
Ah glad to have discovered you Christine, a romantic, a loving true romantic is hard to fine.
Great sensitivity here and lovely photo, accentuating the point.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL POETICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE STRENGH AND DURABILITY OF LOVE'S DEEP ROOTED AND INTERTWINED, UNDYING 'VINES'. EXCELLENT! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...

Words and picture a sensual, intertwined and delightful complement. What more intimate picture of physical, emotional and spiritual union is there? Love this, xx
I love this one, you have had some time to really rejuvenate. Hope you are doing well, sending healing vibes to you and your aunt.
Much peace, love and light,
Amber
Christine, "climbing each other for support" is unique expression. Refreshing and taking my imagination by storm. Then you follow that image with the next verse that teases the senses, "roots deeper than the eye could see, more plush, with each pulsating breath". "Waiting" is now among the top favorites of your works. I bid you love and joy my dear friend.
Damn, Christine, that photo! WoW! Stirred this old guy, I can tell you.
Oh, the poem. Actually, if possible, and it is possible, the poem outshines the picture. The words are pure poetry with no distraction, just pure poetry. I like it so much I will save it.
A joy to read.
