No longer does the sun shine for me.

There are no more blue skies over my sea.

Instead it’s raining in my heart each day,

Since you were forced to move away.

Each night I look at the stars in the sky,

And hide the tears that fall from my eye.

Wondering how you are tonight,

Hoping you are both all right.

I know you now have peace of mind.

Of this fact, I will never be blind.

I also know you’d love to be home again,

But only after we’ve gotten rid of the “pain”.

You must feel so torn apart from us now.

But soon we’ll be together again, I vow.
