Adorable, CJ...I think this one should be handed out to all students, to take home, at the beginning of the school year!

My daughters had them twice, CJ; consecutively....it was the pinkest [calomine] Elementary School year, we ever spent.. the neighborhood pharmacist lady actually let me run a tab! It's horrible to go through as the parent, too. It hurts to see them so miserable. Now they have gone through it themselves,as mothers...and the beat goes on!

Wish I had that poem when I had the ugly dots. I had them twice. once as a child then I caugt them from my son when he was 5!wasn't I lucky. covered me like you wouldn't believe had them inside and out. very rare...Good one CJ...ET

Ah, poor kid. Chicken pox...itchy, itchy, itchy. Thing to remember is try to resist scratching...will leave ugly marks. Where cotton gloves...But most of all remember, this too will pass!

Oh but it can get humiliating when they are on the eyelids, the mouth and private parts.
Rub a dub dub...
chicken's in the tub,
bath of oatmeal to conceal,
the itch and scratch
of scabs that peel.
Bless this pen becaus it isn't a story tale bu t alltoo true for wee ones...us too.

But OH, how they DO itch! Still have a scar on my forehead from this darn stuff - and that was about 70 years ago! De... :o)

I know the answer...I know the answer. It's so the doctor can charge seventy five dollars a visit. Who's going to pay that much for itchin' dots? Sweet as always CJ. Grasshopper bows to the Master.
