Our grandson drew a picture of my wife many years ago. He made her look about eighty years of age. She looks at it at times and says that he must have been able to see into the future.

Paper valentines...A friend and her son were working on some the other day in anticipation of the 14th...it was just so refreshing to see that in this day of instant gratification and easy purchases because no one takes the time any more...I adore your children;s petry CJ>>

You capture the true heart of a child here...I can remember looking over my Valentine cards, wondering, which one I should give to who? ...and it always seemed, I gave out the ones that looked like the one I was presenting it to...funny?

love it CJ...and that dimple is great...your such a talented lady, you have a beautiful poem for every occasion, you are every primary teachers dream come true. I have found that rhyming words are difficult for six year olds but an important part of learning to spell and read...love your poetry and will ask if I may borrow this one for my students, we make heart people every year for Valentines day and this poem would be perfect. You never cease to amaze me my dear friend. Enjoyed this one very much!

Some people just see a kid cutting and drawing, but not you CJ. You see the love and excitement a child has in their creations and express it so warmly. I can't believe how well you write for being only five. lolol
