When two people are in love, all their prayers are answered... or so it seems.

Poem Artwork

Two lovers lay
on blades of long, green grass
hearts on fire
a world that could never go wrong
with eager fingers
they write on every passing cloud
each one journeying towards the sun
with them a prayer most profound
a lover's plea
no greater than a pea
and as they watch and wait
with hearts on fire
for their world where nothing would go wrong
an answer is revealed
in form of showers
from returning pregnant mounds

That's interesting! I'm still trying to figure out how the clouds got pregnant though! :)

writing on every passing cloud--never run out of writing materials or imagination. Had a little trouble with the word 'mounds' but I think I got the drift (or draft). :)
