Dedicated to the foster children who never get chosen to be a member of a real family.

Innocence raked by reality.
Dreams tossed to the ground.
Bitter stabs of lost opportunity.
Hearts broken, pieces never found.

Not heard or seen, but all are felt.
Common ground for emotional ghosts.

Soundless effects affect us most.
