Good thinking. Great writing. Questioning the 'ifs' keeps things balanced. However, we still have time to do better in areas where we have doubts, debts, and guilt. This is a morning mind-shaker!

This is penned so simply and perfectly expresses what we feel when a special person blinks off our screen forever. We never think to give the hugs and flowers when the person is alive, and the funeral is too little too late. And those holidays (mothers, fathers, etc.) are only one day out of each whole year, when we need to be giving them our love each and every day, or else ...

In a large sense, we should pre-mourn our loved ones today and every day, for one day they will go away, and mourning will not matter to them.

Dawn, if you do not send this one out to be published, shame on ya. It needs to be read widely!
