She walked to the cupboard
But it was bare
Not a morsel of food
Was found there
More month than money
Nothing to eat
Tears rolled down her cheeks
She never dreamed
That she would be here
No money in her golden years
She worked hard all of her life
Paid her taxes, did what was right
Lived on a budget
And never spent
Money that she did not have
She paid into Social Security
For so many years,
but now there is no security here!
Seems Politians, (such learned men),
Can not do what she always did!
Not spend money, you do not have
Live on a budget. UNDERSTAND?
So now she will suffer
She will not eat
They are not worthy
To wash her feet!
Shame, shame, shame on those in 'high' office, who have no idea of what service and sacrifice are all about! Powerful, painful words ... well done.

I fit that description. I'm on S.S. Haven;t had a raise since Hussein came into office, and even if we had had one it wouldn't have been enough to make much difference. They have taken the money in S.S. and frittered it away on other things, pet projects, etc. Billions to the countries in the Middle East who want to kill us. Just saying . . .
