Well what a time I had last night, a lady hot to trot
At least I thought that she was that. A hooker? No, she's not!
Dressed in tight jeans with chains around her hips and round her waist
A low-cut thang with designer ripped sleeves, her lips said, 'Boy come taste!'

Her sparkling eyes and high class butt, a wicked sexy grin
And so I asked a simple truth, but she went very grim!
'Let's both make love and have a ball, no strings, or promises
Let's grab the moment, here and now!' But she gave me Death's Kiss!

'Hell NO!' she said, I asked again, 'Hell NO!' 'Please YES!' 'Hell NO!
Persistent little buggar me I did not take her 'NO!'
As time went on I asked and asked and then I asked some more
I must say now that I did say, not until you open the door!

By that I mean I made two rules I told her 'Nuff respect!'
And the only thing that stopped me was...she had not said 'Yes!'
So still I asked and she said 'NO! again I asked again
The way she dressed and looked at me put my groin into pain!

Yet still  I wouldn't jump on her, I'm not like other men
And so I asked and she said 'NO!' and so I asked again!
I should say here that she had kids and grandchildren as well
And she was lovely in her mind with body bonus, swell!

You see if there just ain't a mind, where it should oughta be
No matter what the body's like, to me it's simply meat!
So there it is, I asked again and asked and asked some more
Repeating that I would do nowt until she opens the door!

Well as it was I persisted until her aspect 'Hag'
I offered  her Rainbow's Lucky Dip, from out my medicine bag.
She pulled a blue stone from the hole I made with my two hands
She looked at it and fondled it, said, Thanks!' Oh swelling gland!

For where she put it, I'll tell you my eyes did spread quite wide
For down her cleavage that stone went, 'Oh lucky stone!' I cried
Oh wow I wished that I could be that blue stone snuggled there
She took it out and offered me to smell the stone - I swear!

'Oh please' said I, I'll tell you straight I cut her dead alone!
What does she think that this man is? An animal with a bone?
The one thing that I know I ain't is animal, not me
I am a man in honest mode, it seems she's not so free!

So I cut off and I went in within my soul and mind
I contemplated once again, a case of one so blind
A Scorpio, she said she was, an astro label thang!
She demonstrated just how easy themselves those scorpions sting!

So that was it, we're not to be, not flying, soaring high
And that's OK, for as I said, I do not jump this guy!
Blunt honesty's a funny thing, 'Be honest with me please
No games, no ego's, none of that to put me at my ease!'

Is what they bleat, well honesty with me is a playful pup
And so I asked, did not give in, come fill my loving cup
Just then she rolled a certain thang and smoked most all herself
She finally offered me a draw, but I was in myself

So I said, 'No, that thing you did' I spoke only to me
'Has trapped you in the baggage car while I am flying free!'
Come morning's light we talked it through, I left with a hug and a kiss
Once more into the game my friends, in truth this feels like bliss

She said I'd made her like herself, more than she ever did
At least for such a long, long time, that's great go for it kid!
So there it is, that's it, that's all, a human drama spree
How can I help you like yourself, what charge? Why no, it's free!

My new book: Battle-Scarred Heart is in production

You were very persistent I must say...

I like this, you kept me in suspense to see if persistence would pay but it did, in a different way. Enjoyed!
