??Filament…??
reminds me of fill my mental
with pureed dates (which I hate)
That word won’t go away, and keeps me awake
My mind is stuck, stagnant, lost and bewildered
whatever you want to call it
I am…
Walking ‘round and ‘round from hula hoop to hula hoop
Not wondering when I’ll get out and head in the right direction
One word, two words, and my mind kicks out its temporary boarders
That’s taking up too much room with their luggage overflowing
with nonsense
Someone very dear to me told me that he loved my stream
of consciousness. I must’ve asked him a million times
“what’s that thing I have that you like?”
All I could remember was consciousness…flow, run on
sentence, consciousness what??. I couldn’t remember it long enough to even
Look it up. I probably got it wrong here…shrug
If I call myself a poet, (which I don’t) am I suppose to
remember that, or did he make it up
Please, someone hit me over the head
with a dinosaur leg drum…
Can’t even get the phrase right
It totally slipped my mind, and I have no inclination
to even try to remember
I wonder if it’s normal to NOT care
where my mind went and where it emptied my thoughts
Great introspective write, Marilyn and it makes me think. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you. Regis

Hi Marilyn!
This is interesting... I have a tendency to do that consciousness thing too... :)
reflective kind of starts off nowhere man doesnt have a point of view knows not where hes going to incidently i think nowhere man a reasonable poem anyway reflective along with a few of their others anyway robin
For me ...when I'm that way...my associates call it a blonde moment. Whatever comes then ...according to your fine verse here...it's a "thang" we poets do to drop out I think. I love your wit and perplexity with yourself. It's a super attribute to have fun with one's self.
Great write you shared this morning. Now i don't feel so alone.
