How many times have I
Walked by and thanked
You for your gallant
Gestures
One day, you were not
Standing there to open the
Door for me.
You were inside gathering
Courage to tell me what
Was on your mind
You say that you like my
Scent, and you wait for me
To walk by every morning
So that when you open the
Door, the breeze carries my
Fragrance to your nose
You say you have your favorites
No longer shy, you wait
Outside again to greet me.
Today you pointed a tree
Out to me and told me that my
Scent reminded you of the
Fluttering Gingko leaves as
The breeze passes through them
How ironic…the sight was beautiful
To match the “Beautiful” that I
Was wearing
Another winner, Marilyn I imagine you are more "Beautiful" than your perfume or the tree.

What a romantic heart you have. I loved
this poem. I loved the story behind it. So sweet, and innocent, but so precious to you. I know. Bill (((Hugs)))

So many precious voices whisper to us.
Thanks for the reminder to listen. I'm sure the trees are grateful. Vicky
