Poem Artwork

Bits and pieces of time -
stolen hours of love.

Yes, I’d rather be a thief
than to deny myself of you

I’d steal the seconds to
gaze in your eyes.

I’d steal a minute just to
strum your face

I’d steal time just to taste
your smile

Stolen hours –
precious hours loving you

I’ll take you any way I can
for as long as I can

Come to my life for just a
moment so we can steal each
Others hearts for keeps

I’ll treasure our eternal love
with my soul

I’ll give you all that I am in
these precious stolen hours

Oy, I am wrenched in two directions while reading this piece, Marilyn, wanting more for her, yet glad she is happy... I guess stolen is the key word, it sends a disquieting message to my mind. Great job! :)
