Sleep little one sleep; let the sandman do his deed.
You’re getting very tired and sleep is what you need.
Close those little eyes my love and dream wonderful dreams.
Of all the beautiful dancing stars and heavenly moonbeams.
Go dance with them my darlin, ride the moonbeams with delight.
For you will wake with wonderment from the joys you find tonight.
So sleep my little one sleep, for the adventures yet to come.
Catching those falling stars as they fall, not all them, but some.
Ride the moonbeams climbing high and soar as an eagle flies.
For soon the morning comes and your early morning cries.
Goodnight my love goodnight, we’ll see each other soon.
For if I don’t get some sleep, mommy will sleep ‘til noon.

Loved it, but the last line had me laughing!
I am afraid the lullaby I made up wasn't nearly that pretty...and it only has one word in it...I was obviously sleep deprived! But it works!
Here is a small sample from it...

It is so much better put to music... it really grows on you...
