Jingles and Snowflake
Jingles and Snowflake truly wanted to believe.
But found it very hard even being born on Christmas eve.
Two little precious kittens that only wanted one thing.
To be loved by a human, but was something Santa didn’t bring.
Left on their own devices in finding new ways to survive.
It’s a miracle that Jingles and Snowflake are both still alive.
For they knew nothing of traffic or how to hunt for food.
But they did the best they could even if looked crude.
Their little bellies were never full and hunger loomed ahead.
Both of them were skin and bones, at times they looked half dead.
Santa never forgot Jingles and Snowflake, he loved those precious two.
So when Christmas came this year, he knew just what he had to do.
He received a letter from a Mommy about her little son.
Who never asks for anything, but this year he asked for one.
He wanted two kittens so they wouldn’t be lonely when he was gone.
You see this little boy has leukemia and his life will soon be done.
He wanted these little kittens so his Mommy would have them to love.
When the day his Savior called and took him to the Heavens above.
He didn’t want his Mommy to miss him, so one kitten was not enough.
One must be loving & the other courageous, when the going gets rough.

Santa knew right away which kittens would fill this little boy’s need.
Yep, it was Jingles and Snowflake, the best of their breed.
