Looking from the inside out,
I wonder aimlessly
from one thought to the next,
unaware of the obvious.
Observations
only conclude assumptions
and interest fade
as new thoughts invade.
A squawking raven
passing by took my gaze,
and for a moment,
I understood simplicity.
Smiling, laughing
from the inside out,
I realize
another profound truth.
Where I think I end,
is where I really begin
and then,
I stumble into another thought….

Many suffer from ADD, few understand it and many go unaware that those who have this disorder struggle for the rest of their life trying to live through eyes of a normal world.
For those who don’t know what ADD is, here is my brief description.
Normal = Your mind had thousands of well-organized filing cabinets.
ADD = Your mind has one huge dumping ground with a mind that races from one place to the next at random.

I have a 10 year old son with A.D.D.
It can be hard work with him at times but well worth the effort :))

Excellent!! Such a GOOD Cause!! I work with ADHAD Children, I recruit the use of my horses.. They are "Magic"! And what Jay said about The school systems is so very true..To many times, the answer to them was "Riddln"..Many times the symtoms are mis-diagnosed as ADHA when in fact they are Bi-Polar..Grave error!! So very sad..
Education is so very needed!!

Thank you for this. It's so true that many go undiagnosed or mis-diagnosed. My g/f was recently diagnosed with this and I have known this thought racing, overwhelming 'feeling' for quite some time. Kudos my friend.
