To understand yourself enough to let others love you, isn't that a wonderment

I want to be independent, but captured I want to be let loose, but kept close I want to listen for hours, but not be ignored I want to touch your hand, feel your embrace Out under the moon at the beach, near the water, Let's listen to the sounds of the sand I want to lean down and touch that area Of your shoulders where your wings may Someday be attached. Please dear Thomas Take my breath away - why don't you? I'll sleep a little longer, be more relaxed� Now that I've told you who I am. November 2003
