It Seems Like Million Dollar Pancakes

We flew so far away, I cannot get back from there
We flew so far away; our wealth can never be compared
Isn't it enchanting that we all stayed entwined together?
After all, here we are... being called... birds of a feather.

We flew so far away, who would ever want to return
You and I, we'll be friends living, loving and learning
We'll all be like million dollar pancakes
You know - the one's with so very much air.
Friends are just so much and fluffy and sweet
Good thing we had wings and didn't have to use our feet

We flew so far away, let's go again. Let's see if we can't win
There you are, I see you over there…
It seems like you made it back and because I witnessed it
We may never have to leave again.

We flew so far away, I cannot get back from there
We flew so far away; our wealth can never be compared

Isn't it enchanting that we all stayed entwined together?
After all, here we are... being called... birds of a feather.

We flew so far away, who would ever want to return
You and I, we're friends living, loving and learning

In heaven it will all be like million dollar pancakes
You know - the one's with so very much air

Friends giggling, singing and feeling fluffy and sweet
Good thing we had wings and didn't have to use our feet

We flew so far away, let's plan to go again someday
Maybe we can fly together during the month of May

We'll see if we can't win; there you are, I see you over there…
With the smile upon your face showing me that you care

It seems as if you returned and because I witnessed it
We may never have to leave again. We can stay and just sit.

The Ghost of Mavis by Mary Lynn Plaisance

Mavis asked, "Am I a ghost again? I don't remember being a ghost, but I know I was." Do you believe in reincarnation?
