Step right up to the planet Tazz,
Come sing and dance, play some Jazz.
Fancy dresses, jewels of bright rich gold,
Buzzing, sparkling, and Razzmatazz.
Tazz is a place... where no one is old,
It is here that practically nobody dies.
Tazz is the owner of a fabulous heaven,
Razzmatazz is the sound heard exactly at eleven.
Step right up, can't you see the luminous colors,
Watching auras, listening to birds sing, see the halos,
Look, it's spectacular with the special chosen angels.
Tazz is their heavenly home where happiness is free
Jazz is always there, but look... won't you come see,
He is... he is free, yes everything thing here is free.
We beg you not to bother bringing your anger.
We suggest you leave your bitterness at the door.
Because here at Tazz's place, you'll always receive more.
More of happiness and more ecstatic joy,
There will be less reality, but certainly more freedom.
You see, now that you stepped right up to
Tazz with all that Jazz and even stayed a minute,
The Universe has initiated you as one of the chosen few.
This poem was written for a friend of mine and Tazz never knew it was coming.
A naïve councilman and a down-on-her-luck single mom try to save their county’s last stand of forest from greedy developers and a dysfunctional government.
A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes.
