Father I join my hands in prayer and kneel down in this place
In the innocence of Jesus I ask you to embrace.
The times I try
the times I cry
the times I cannot bear
The times my words are never heard
the times I'm worried sick.
The times when I feel left out
and I'm no ones favourite pick .
Father your love is always there,
It lives deeply within.
I know that children's demands Lord ,
never ever give in .
I am learning that you too will answer me in good time .
Father I am asking you to help these children of mine.
Help them to know you like I do,
keep them safe in your care.
Dear Father in heaven help them
when I cannot be there.
