************************************************
Arms as old as time
Reaching upward toward
A sky as blue as tomorrow
She had stood for so very long
Her limbs bent and gnarled
Still she reached toward heaven
Basking in each new days sun
Drinking in the precious dew
That touched her gently each morn
Clothed in moss and lichen
Ragged as any street urchin could be
Still she stood proud and tall
Arms stretching toward tomorrow
As she had stood over generations before
Through their happiness and sorrow
The inspiration oak still stands
Holding our dreams in her tired old hands

Liked this one a lot, Sue. Oak trees endure through time--great message.
At the heart of the eight compelling nonfiction stories and five-article appendix which make up Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah is this interesting question: What would your life mean if you were living someone else's dream of what it should be?
Namaste' to you my friend
