How some women fool themselves into thinking an abuser will change. Its rare that they do. If you are in this kind of situation, GET OUT before its too late for you.

oh, Linda, I am breathless. This issue is such a problem. My ex hit me once and I had him hauled off to the military cop shop. Next day he was on his knees. It takes so much courage to believe that he WILL hit again and to turn and leave. To commit to something entirely against what you thought you had committed to. If you have gone through this, I am sorry that you did, and hope it is over.

No human being nor any animal deserves this kind of treatment. There is just nothing good about it. Get out now! Then seek help for the other person so they will not hurt another in this way ever again.
