Wondrous things are possible,
Of this I have no doubt.
Just as long as I believe
Good luck will come about!
My attitude will be positive,
No room for negative chi,
I’ll wear a smile upon my face,
That everyone will see!
Life will hand me lemons,
From time to time I know,
But I’ll turn them into lemonade
And sweeten it as I go!
I only have one life to live,
A gift to relish each day,
And I’ll make every second count
Whether I’m at work or play.
Now I've been called an optimistic,
But that’s not such a curse,
Being known as negative Nell,
To me would be much worse!

I always feel that I may as well be optimistic about the things that really matter to me because, even if they do not turn out as I wished, at least I felt good for as long as it lasted. Sure beats always feeling bad.

I like this but did you know there is actually an international organization called the Optimist Club, I am not a member but had the privalege of attending several of their meetings as a spokesperson for a local charity and yes they actually do have an OPtimist Creed that they recite standing up at every meeting. I like yours better though.
