Ah nature!!! Dreaming of warm sunny days.....

Poem Artwork

 

Sunbeams on a lazy cat,
Asleep without a care,
Warm and soothing summer breeze,
Sweet bouquet in the air!
Robins singing somewhere near,
Slight rustling in the trees,
Flowers in their heavenly bloom,
Welcoming the bees!
Blue skies high above the earth,
Clouds like puffy dreams.
Nature in perfect harmony,
Bursting at the seams!
Endless inspiration,
Within this splendid sphere!
Momentum for a poet’s quill,
That’s always somewhere near!

One of the most enjoyable times of almost every day is when my lady, myself along with the "KIDS" (Kody and now, Ms Goody) sit outside almost every afternoon (this is Southern California after all) with the exact sights and sensations as so perfectly described above.
