This ought to be posted in forums all over the 'net. So many
people suffer from low self-esteem. Feel hopeless and trapped,
and don't understand that they have it in them to help
themselves. Positive self-talk is absolutely essential!
In a very real sense, it is up to us as individuals to pull ourselves
up by our emotional bootstraps. . .I shouldn't have put it like that.
All need "a little help from our friends," don't we. All need to
know someone like you.

Even the strongest of us walks through the valley of the shadow of
doubt sometimes. The harder we have had to work to believe in ourselves, the greater the doubt, when something makes us fall.

I wrote "I'm my own Best Friend" as a song and had it published for the second time in "Hints of Me" here on the den. Its uncanny how similar it is to yours, although you can't have seen it unless you are one of the den owners or employees. Ironic coincidence!!! Of course I love it, because it mirrors my own writings and feelings.

So many of us are so completely busy being "for others" that we can't even see ourselves.
Amazing that when we love ourselves we are so much better for others.
