Still searching....after all these years...and loving the ride......

Drifting through time and space
Dancing on moonbeams
Leaping from star to star
Searching for my destiny!
It’s out here somewhere
Perhaps beyond the next galaxy
Maybe there in Jupiter’s shadow.
I am in the realm of dreamers
Where my feral spirit soars!
Life has led me to this place
Searching for my destiny!
Comets seek to slow me down
But I won’t be deterred!
I’ll ride them through the universe
Just another shooting star
Dazzling the eyes of those
Still chained to the earth!
I have shed my shackles
Rising above reality
To soar like a majestic eagle!
Strong and beautiful in flight,
Enduring and unwavering…
Searching for my destiny!

Great poetry, Anna! Everyone must follow their own destiny, and it looks like you have got a bead on yours. Alas, and drat, my destiny caught up with me years ago and then just disappeared. So, I'm on the hunt once again.
