Thank you for writing this tribute for Whitney... I was very shaken by her death... she rose to fame during my college years... and my first movie date with my husband was to see The Bodyguard. Such a talent and you have written what my heart feels... well done.

A wonderful tribute to Whitney Annabel Karissa! We are all sinners so who am I to throw stones at how she lived her life. I did write a book titled "Mentoring To-Go" and it may have helped Whitney because it contains information on how to break a habit. I hope and pray I can help someone like her through my writing so another talent like hers will not leave the earth so young. May God rest her soul. I loved her songs so much I just can't get her sweet voice out of my mind. But that is a good thing because she sings like an angel. Amen!

Very nicely said, Anna. She wasn't my favorite person because she fell into the sewer of crack, etc., and never took control of her life again. I don't slam her for being an addict, I was one, a bad one, but the slam is the inability to understand her greatness and climb out of that pit. We all have greatness within us in some form or other, she had it in abundance and abused it, failing herself unto the very end.
