Yep! It's that time again...just took a walk along the shore with Ed Matlock (in his poem that is..giggle) and he inspired this poem...

Poem Artwork

When life has me in a stranglehold
Spirit bent out of shape
Feet don’t want to move at all
And I don’t know what road to take

When it seems like nothing ever goes right
No matter how hard I try
I’m struggling against incredible odds
That worsen as time goes by

That’s when I know the time has come
To listen to a breeze
See the faces in the clouds
Observe nature’s harmony

Soon birdsongs give my soul a lift
Flowers brighten my day
And cradled in Mother Nature’s arms
Is where I want to stay!

Anna, I like the way the writing is evolving while retaining that focus on nature which is your love. Wonderful to see it happening.

Ah, Anna. You're the only thread of and to my interest in writing and when I do read your words they always inspire me to hang on a bit longer so possibly I might, once again, find further interest.

Beautifully rendered, Anna. We all have our comfort zone, and I dare say Mother Nature probably leads everything else as a place to go to be as one with yourself.
