Children are wonderous. They never cease to amaze me and even though I do not have any of my own..they are precious.

Childhood was different back then We played outside all day in the summertime After school we changed into our play clothes Played till suppertime, after dinner played till dusk Today you hardly ever see kids outside They are indoors with their computers, Cell phones, tv and stereo Whatever happened to the imagination When I was a kid I used my imagination Everyday I was never bored I never tired of play Kids were very physical back then We rollerskated, kept the key around our neck On an old shoelace Biked, picnicked, sports, climbed trees Used our imaginations Always

Your words are sadly so true. Even more sad is the fact that with all the technology, kids don't even have to think for themselves any more.

Sadly the days of kids being equatedd to outdoors are sadly fallen by the wayside...no more swimming holes in the summer, no more jumping into a pile of leafs in fall, or sleding come winter or spashing in spring rain and puddles but if you get the right video games they can show you how to do it from sitting in a chair...sad but true
