Poem Artwork

Seemingly,
Not one, could
See-

Heart-break souls
Whose lives
Were
No longer
Their own...

No interest
In what was once
Interesting...

Appetite not relished,
Sleep disrupted,
Night after night

Bodies that flowed
Easily,
Feel like lead
Each step is an effort
Words are no longer
Spoken. . .

Tears are constant
No joy...
These are the unseen...
You seemingly see
Everyday

When I drive down a quiet block of houses, I often imagine the drama going on behind those façades. No one really knows. We can only imagine. Hopefully not the worst that most drama stories tell us is going on.
