Open our minds to absorb all we can.Searching each day for something new.

Traveling life’s many roads Heeding my inner ambitions and woes I resist the annoying occurrence of boredom Reading all that there is within my grasp Surrounding myself with a thirst for knowledge Traveling from the future into the past . Forming a basis for myself to live On what road I have chosen as mine Remembering that all will not be rosy and kind . Knowing that there will be ups and downs Not letting them get in my way to success Over the mountains I shall pass With a feeling of inner happiness Letting my inner self be made known Even when I am plodding through Down long and dangerous roads by myself Getting up and seeing things through Every opportunity I shall take with joy

Yes I think we are all having a thirst for knowledge these days-- I have been reading several books each day-- one chapter at a time

Nowadays especially there is every kind of knowledge available at our fingertips, and we can learn much and be reassured by the lessons of individuals from the past...and like you, I have a real thirst for knowledge....
However on a beautiful blue-skied day, with blossom floating gently on our heads, it is bliss to let it all go, and just revel in the fantastic now....

Nice thoughts, Kathleen. But I am reminded of the fellow who said "When you're up to your eyeballs in alligators, it's kinda hard to remember your objective is to drain the swamp." :)
