News About Eileen by robert Jude Forese Friday, December 22, 2006 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Many people have contacted about the welfare of Eileen ... i was unaware of her condition ... She was just released from the hospital suffering from neuropathy in her legs and was unable to walk ... she has been in physical therapy for 3 weeks and is barely able to walk and stand and is under heavy sedation ... she's back on the road to recovery and will return her emails, phone calls etc. as soon as possible ... she thanks everyone for their concern and prayers ... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been wondering for weeks where Eileen was. I know see Jude posted something about her illness. So I hope she recovers soon. In the meantime Sherry, I'd like to wish you a Happy Holiday and joyous New Year. ~ Sara

Yes, I also had wondered but have read what the other authors are saying below.
Eileen is quite special indeed, prayers for a speedy recovery to her as for Karen. I believe Eileen has a lot of strength and determination most of all she believes in the Greatest Medical Physician.

Bless you for articulating what has been so close to our hearts over the past few weeks - Eileen's very unexplained absence, which, given her daily commitment to us here and the fact that she never otherwise "keeps us guessing", had me very nervous for her health. It is such a relief to know that she is in recovery, though what she has suffered and is currently experiencing sound very acute and unpleasant. Thank God for prayer power and for the healing good wishes of all whose lives she has touched and is a part of. May this ultimately be a special time of strengthening and re-envisioning for her as she starts of 2007 with a completely fresh slate and with her priorities re-ordered... well, there has to be some spin-off doesn't there?! :)) And, as you so rightly say, Eileen and Karen both being made whole brings the true meaning of Christmas right back to our hearts! I've been missing her on a regular basis now. I sent her an email to her private agddess and nothing. I want to see if she needs help and I feel helpless in my qyust to find her. If you find out, please share the news. Thank you for posting this and Merry Christmas Eileen and to you as well!

I just got a note from Eileen. She just got home from the hospital and is still very weak and in a lot of pain. She will post a message to all here at AD as soon as she has the strength to do so. She wanted to thank all here who have been thinking of her, all who posted here expressing their concern and also said that continuing to keep her in our prayers will be greatly appreciated. I tried to e-mail each of you who have posted here, but after a few sent, AD sent me a message that I was sending too many e-mails. Seeeee...it really IS going to be a Merry Christmas! Both Karen and Eileen are still with us. HOOOOO-RAY!

Have not heard from Eileen since around Thanksgiving. Her move was to have been one flight down at her complex, the first part of November. None of my emails to her have have gotten a reply, but none "returned" either. Just for verification, I called LD operator and the number I have for her is good and current. My multiple calls to her (mornings and nights) have been unsuccessful in contacting her; no working answering machine until today and I left a message and my tele #. I know she has family not too far from where she was living, and can only hope and pray she is with one of them for the holidays. Although I can't imagine Eileen not taking her 'puter with her if she were to be gone any length of time; there may be a medical reason why she didn't do that.

We can, and we need to, all pray for her well-being and return to A.D. soon.

I asked a few weeks ago she has been laying heavy in my thoughts and prayers she mentioned virus back around November at Thanksgiving. But have not heard a word on her board I have Mailed her several e-mails too I have been worried. Thank you Sherry. Bless you

And like the rest, I agree too. Eileen always had a way with her rhymes, and the wisdom and humor she shared. She always had a way of saying the right thing in a comment bout someone else's story or poem.

It is a busy time of year. I have not been on as often. My wife is really working hard at Christmas and she is force (poor little me) to help. LOL>

So do I, Sherry, AD just doesn't seem the same without her, and it would be so nice to have Eileen Home for the Holidays.

I tried contacting our Den Mother Eileen several weeks ago via the messaging system - no response. I really miss her too. I'm in faith mode now Sherry. I wish somebody knew something.

And a beautiful poem that I agree wholeheartedly with.
