What happened to my love?

Poem Artwork

Hi darling, how are you?

How do you feel?

Don't me see you?

Well, it's not a big deal.

You are too busy

There are so many guests

All of them speaking

And they don't give you to rest.

I am here

outside your room

Cannot bear

Being so gloom.

I cannot leave

And cannot enter,

My love to you

Is so tender.

Do you remember

You said before leaving:

Our love to stop never,

As long as we're living?

The eternity love

And joyful life

While I'm your husband

And you are my wife.

But the life knows better

The eternity's length of one month,

My good life is on hold for later,

Your's with Denis begins with a dance.

When I heard that you're going to marry,

I went to sleep really early.

What a silly idea! Lying in bed there

And seeing you face everywhere.

And now I'll never

Will see you in morning awake,

And your smile will for ever

Work additional hours but not for my sake.

Life isn't fair?

It depends on how you look.

From here, as I am standing,

It seems that from me it only took.

I'm still here,

Don't leave, don't enter,

Try to forgert you,

Calm my heart and feel better.

My love to you is at end,

Not natural but strangled and bent

So you can have it as an example

For what you could have in ample.

It's your to take

Or to throw away,

I will find somebody other

With whom I'll share until the last day.

Love the 'potato heart' pic.! Is it yours, Jack? Your verses are filled with emotions, you're/me're still there/here, the potato pared away, in love's 'earthy' way.
