Iron caskets beneath the sea
Tears that run down a woman’s face
Centuries of war – MIA’s
Window jumpers – Great Depression.
Shooting the wife-beater in self-defense
Lincoln et. el’s. assassination
Innocent’s in jail hung out to dry
Jack came down and broke his crown
Trail of Tears – Cherokees de-nationed.
A running litany of woe. A reminder of wrongs that shouldn't have happened. Thanks. Ending with the 'Trail of Tears' was a powerful stroke--how our government made promises in writing and broke them due to greed.
