'unhinge me . . .'

Poem Artwork

First an acquaintance
Then goods friends
Get to the
point – unhinge my
heart and soul
Love me for
who I am,
not for what
I’m not, otherwise
will not work...
Don’t let me
have to disguise
my love – on
bended knees
pleading, love me
two times – no
broken promises, scars
will run deep
Please don’t make
our love temporary...
