A Subsurface Scattering

'Almost three dimensional'

Poem Artwork

Mechanism conveying light

Light penetrates surface

Translucent object interacts

Exits reflected surface.

Repeats the process

At irregular angles

Almost three dimensional

Glasses not needed.

A realistic rendering

Marble, skin, milk

Method of estimating

As in life.

Shadow mapping like

Big Brother 1984

Problems do arise

Concave depth peeling.

Beneath the surface

Accurate scattering model

Soul clearly shown

Courage now cold.

Texture space diffusion

Unwraps the heart

Carved up sharp

Now 2D image.

Lose all identity

Theft non-animating

Disembodied spirit of

Euthanized - now 1D.

ahhh....the feeling of color, like the death of a prism....elate minds eye to journey into the intrugue of imaginations pallet of colors unfading until....
