The world lived in darkness, this I believe. 

Then God decided, to turn on the light,

The sun for the daytime, the moon for the night.

Then waters and dry land with heavenly skies,

A man and a woman to parent His prize, 

But right before children, God gave them one rule,

Expecting obedience, without any school.

Well they didn’t listen and both disobeyed,

Ignoring the penalty, God said would be paid, 

The tree in the middle, is only for show,

No eating, no touching or death you will know,

And God wasn’t kidding, just look at today,

Death is no stranger, we still pass away, 

But I found a way past, a grave that’s for sure,

Christ is the answer, Belief is the cure!
