Caution: Do not get caught up in hype and its drama * The Lord had shown me that Obama would be President before he even ran for this office * This IS a good thing

A Mere Mortal Man ©copyright 2009 Bonita M Quesinberry Please, do not get caught up in hype and its drama, because this man is now President Obama; for he's just a mere mortal man placed in office by Father God, based on His plan of joy and strife devised for man's short journey to eternal life. In these end days, change comes to a world of nations; as if by one: but by all human relations built on love and equality— as Christ taught us— and by our sacrifice, as there might be a need. Are we all willing to work hard, share wealth, shed greed? From great need, our sacrifice Obama will ask— the wealthy to share their riches, that jobs give task; that no one be without clothes, homeless and hungry; ask doctors and hospitals to serve all who ail, that teachers guide and teach each child to win, not fail. In these end days, change comes to a world of nations; as if by one: but by all human relations built on love and equality— as Christ taught us— and by our sacrifice, as there might be a need. Are we all willing to love hard, share wealth, shed greed? Please, do not get caught up in hype and its drama, because this man is now President Obama; for he's just a mere chosen man placed in office by Father God, based on His plan of joy and strife devised for man's short journey to eternal life. * * * Hype and drama portend miracles by a man, as if he could— he's just a man in God's great plan.

Great poems. Obama gave our nation so much. I agree, no man is an island and we must all work together to improve our people and planet.

Might be a while tho before this happens:
Are we all willing to love hard, share wealth, shed greed?

An excellent poem.We as a people should change ourselves and our lives.Yes indeed Obama is a great man,but he is one man and he can't do it alone.We have to support him and most of all,help each other out.A new era of responsibility is upon us.take care

All America needs now is people who are confident and believe in everything that can happen for the better and not be pouring cold water to Obama. Negativism works against those who constantly won't believe in changes and would not believe in themselves and others. These negative people only have themselves to blame if miracles don't happen for them.

Obama can make changes, but it is up to the people of America to believe that "Yes, they too, can change!"
