We all go through difficulties, and “Hug It On” was inspired after watching a recent LFDH (Live From Daryl’s House) video collage featuring many of Daryl Hall’s guests over the years. The warmth, energy, and authenticity between the musicians—especially the hugs, music, and laughs—sparked the idea for this song. It’s a reminder that even in a world full of worry, music and people can turn conflict into comfort.The LFDH video left me feeling happy, and I hope Hug It On leaves listeners feeling the same way.
