How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways;
I hate you because you are black and on top of your mental game;
I hate you because you don’t hate back and I need someone to blame;
I hate you because I’m angry and you never act that way;
I hate you because you’re smart and always above the fray;
When I’m screaming blood and murder you always seem so cool
When I tell the biggest lies you’re still nobody’s fool.
My hate seethes deep within me it churns beyond my brains
I hate you when the sun shines I hate you when it rains
I hate you for your polish I hate you for your poise
I preach my hate to little girls and to the little boys.
And should they throw my body into a cold old prison cell
I’d hate you there and finally from the deep dark depths of hell.
