emotions left behind
driving this road of life
look in the rearview mirror
and find nothing there to see
except dark clouds following me
yet no memories to prevail?
driving closer and closer
to the sun as it draws me near...
dark clouds following me
but nothing to keep as mine
recalling a past I wish to forget
emotions left behind
driving this road of life
at last free from all possibility
of turning this car around.
