impressed by the man
who holds the door for
the woman stranger
hands full of course
yet still today it's honor
impressed by the woman
who stops to help a
stray cat in despair
can't always give
it a home I'm sure
still I admire that so
by the faithful husband
to the wife so cruel
and wonder why
he still stays
loyalty I'd assume
yet the harsh truth
may never be revealed
impressed by this
society even with
every one's heavy reasons
and most of the time lost
and so different from
all that I'd like to see
but the little things I note
make impressions
on my heart
