Her smile is as bright
as an angels halo
and she doesnt even know
Her eyes as blue as the ocean
how they sparkle when she tells
her stories of fun adventure
filled with innocent wonder
and what memories in the making
and she doesnt even know
her heart is white as snow
I wish I could look into her future
and see just to tell her
all that will be
for I learned far too much
when I was just thirteen...
But now I am thirty one
and my eyes are much older
without that little sparkle she keeps
and she doesnt even know - her glow
If I had the chance to do it
all over again I wish I had her spirit
of divine strength to be kind
yet wiser than those I held so close
