Root of Dependency: the Collective 

Remember how it was explained, that collectives "suck" energy from their individual parts?

Some time ago I wrote about the "valueless" who have most of the money of the world, and the more money they accumulate (numbers that is) the less value they have?  I wrote my infamous "law" that says, however you would put it, that "A thing will increase its rate of reproduction in direct negative proportion to its dwindling value."

Some day on this planet, that "law" will be recognized as an unavoidable fact.  Probably when it is too late to do anything about it.

Dependencies, then.  A simple scenario here.  Let's look at health "care" in these First World nations.  It's Big Business.  It's extremely profitable - so much so we dare not even speak about that aspect of it and we focus instead on hospital beds and other "costs" that must somehow be met.

Sorry, I digress.  Imagine a person gifted with a true talent of healing.  She can go anywhere and where she passes, disease ceases.  She touches and what she touches heals, even to rejuvenation if the person afflicted can only heal by becoming "younger" in body.

She goes throughout the world and the first ones to acknowledge her and praise her are: drug companies, since healthy people no longer need their product.  Government health departments.  Hospital boards of directors.  Shareholders in health care products and services.  Ambulance manufacturers.  Health related natural foods and supplements suppliers and dealers.  Health spas.  Doctors of all specialties, dentists, health care workers, undertakers - and I could go on. 

Imagine the euphoria among all these people when their dreams of a healthy world have finally materialized because one special person walks among them.  Imagine the ways they seek to make her passage safe, pleasant, and unencumbered by rules and regulations.  Yes...

In your dreams!  She would be dead in a week!  Think about this.  Let it sink in really, really deep.  Understand how all this top-heavy bureaucratic "health care" is a massive collective dependency upon the sick, the lame, the dying.  It's not just co-dependency.  The health industry is more dependent upon its "clients" than are individuals.  In fact, in many places, individuals have no access to that massive "wellness" (editing with the new buzz word here) grinding machine and live productive lives regardless.  But could the great health industry survive without the sick, the lame, the dying?

So next time you go to a professional for any "service" whatsoever, remember this:  under different circumstances, i.e., in a system where the dice is not loaded, you would not need that professional.  You would be an individual with a choice.  And that professional would not be a professional at all, but an empathic and compassionate individual who would help you without requiring payment—without taking from you the little energy you may have left. 

Back to health care, because I know something about that.  When I relied on the health system, doctors, and various practitioners, I went from bad to worse until I could see the day coming (I was in my 20's) when I would be in a wheel chair.  Then something happened, an awakening I suppose, in which I was incidentally healed of what a battery of health professionals could not do -- AND HAD NO INTEREST IN HEALING.  You see, it's not their job to heal, but to maintain.  The money is in maintaining the dependency.  It's a marriage between the professional and the patient; between the insurance company, the lawyers, the counselors, the drug company, the hospital and treatment centers and those they pass around to one-another to squeeze money out of, or having already squeezed money out of, turn their backs on as so much of health insurance does these days.

In 1979, some friends from a different world-view were finally able to break through my programming and give me some valuable advice.  So I would know it was real, they threw in a healing -- with some warnings as to how I could keep it... or lose it.  I can be stubborn in many ways, some good.  I listened.  No, more, I became passionate about their ideas.  So they kept on talking.  And I kept on listening and changing so I could get more of their wisdom. 

Thirty years later, no doctors; no drugs; no more time off work due to sickness.  Gradually, a switch to a non-animal products diet -- all good.  I am no longer dependent in any way upon the health - death industry.  There are still those moments, as my body visibly ages, when I wonder what will really happen... when... But I know that I have control over my own life, my own body.  I can let it go when the time comes to do so, not a moment before or after.  Just walk away.  A scary first step, that's all.  Self-empowerment, pure and simple.

I don't know if you can see how it all fits: collectives versus individuals.  Dependencies - the largest and richest groups being the least valuable and the most needy; the most dependent.  Predators also: how predation is a dependency - because these collectives are all predators, just as the human body (a collective also) is a predator, gets sick and dies.  (There are lesser forms of predation that are not as deadly as those that shed and "drink" the blood of the living - take that symbolically and literally). 

Notice in nature how "things" tend to disintegrate, no matter how much energy was involved in putting them together: mountains erode, waters evaporate, bodies decompose and energy is released.  But know also that this "released" energy is less and less usable in terms of creating new collectives and new dependencies.  Eventually all such energy becomes total chaos – a state known as entropy - and the system built of collectives simply stops.  Then it disappears as if it never was. 

There is, of course, an end for all collective systems that have evolved within "time".  A "time bomb" would not be an exaggeration.  But a bomb that doesn't explode.  It just swallows the entire system then cracks and releases all it's individual components, including its shell.  Nothing remains.  That is the final death.

Let's say that you believed this.  You may ask yourself: what do I do now?  How do I trust myself to go it alone, to move myself outside my dependencies upon all the collectives I serve with my energy (my money and time), my life? 

Well, it's simple really.  But with the best of teachers (from my point of view) it took me 25 years to begin to get it.  And that's with real work, every single day since that awakening point.  I call it a process of detachment and compassion.  Detachment because without it, compassion is impossible.  Most people settle for love, some going as far as "unconditional" love (a misnomer if ever their was one, because love cannot, ever, be unconditional!) And detachment is impossible without compassion.  Any detachment that operates without compassion is narcissism.  Ultimate self-centeredness.  Without compassion, one "detaches" in order to take care of number one: me.  That is probably the greatest sickness of all. 

So know that whenever you hear of compassion and there is no detachment, it isn't compassion.  Whenever you hear of detachment and you observe no compassion, it's not detachment.

That was a quick summary.  Hope it helps.  In case you wonder what my reason is for writing all this "stuff," it is also simple:  that "imagined" healer who walks this world and heals?  My greatest dream is to  be that.  Even if I could do it for only a week, or even a day.  Just to be able to do it.  To see for myself and to demonstrate this possibility!  Oh yes, I'd take any personal consequences thereafter.
