A day after Mithra’s birthday, or Yuletide as its often called, the news came out that the Earth’s magnetic North Pole is racing from Canada towards Russia at 40 miles per year. The shift is caused by magnetic changes within the planet’s core, and alters the direction to which compasses point. Thanks to Graham Hancock’s news roundup for alerting me. I don’t know the implications and will not attempt to guess. 

Like the Sun with its magnetic field encompassing the solar system, the Earth has a more modest energy field of its own. One theory is that it is being generated by a layer of molten rock spinning rapidly around a solid iron crystal at the core of the planet. It is more firmly believed that the Sun’s energetic corona and its extension, the Heliosphere, is generated by the differential in rotation speeds between two of its four main inner levels (the Convective around the Radiative zone).  

In Sun of gOd  I discuss how it is energy that provides the spirit of life. Without energy we do not live or think. Without energy there is nothing that we call living left. Yet we are brought up with the assumption that it is us who gives the life to energy, and not the other way around.

Does it matter how it is that the energy of life is generated, and through which sets of tools this life energy experiences the world of matter? For long we have arrogantly assumed that humans are the only thing in the Universe able to experience consciousness, and that the whole infinite expanse was created with us in Mind. More likely by far that all is infused with Mind, including us for short moments. This is the deepest territory that my book explores, once the vital solar piece of the jigsaw puzzle is back in place.
