I am racing to get my new book ready for Christmas! It feels very tight, but I know, however, how very important the editing steps are, so I am going over the pages with my fine-toothed comb, and then once again. Unfortunately I had the matter of a Halloween Party over the weekend to take up my time, so I am just getting to this task today. (The party was a success, lots of fun, by the way!)
I spent the afternoon reading Teddy & Pip/Bridezilla, and need to go through it one more time before I call it a day. Of course my printer has decided to be out of ink, which never helps matters...
I have to say, in spite of the nit-picky things I am finding (and will change) this story still makes me laugh - and it will make the readers laugh, too. You can't go wrong with cute talking animals who say sassy things, you just can't.
